I have used those aluminum valve stems before with disastrous results. Because of dissimilar metals, they froze on and couldn’t be removed to air down. I brought the truck to a tire shop in Moab and they had to drill the stems off! Please learn from my mistake and go back to plastic caps!

Check this pix of my Basesquach with ‘35s’ and Ranger Raptor with big ‘33s’. in actuality, these tires offer little difference in gound clearance. Just saying.

I’ve only dragged steel skids over rocks. Doesn’t aluminum gaul and deform more than steel when impacted under pressure? Please sell me on aluminum other than weight saving over steel.
