yes I had it professionally installed. They did run a power wire with a fuse. The plug and play unit I used taps into the factory amp. If you look at the first of the comments you’ll see everything that was used.
I’m sure any of these subs would sound better than what’s in it.. I chose the Hertz because I have them on my Harley and they sound fantastic.. I always have the mindset of, you get what you pay for ??‍♂️
Fits perfectly in the space, the seat bottom doesn’t touch the grill of my speaker. I’m completely satisfied. As far as what brand of speaker you’ll use, I think it’s more important to match the amp to the speaker, regardless of brand.
