To each his own but in my eyes that color is hideous. LOL...
There are colors I like that everyone likes.
There are colors I don't like that some others like, and I can see why.
There are colors that are awful that I cannot understand how others can like them. This is one of those colors...
I hit that thing above the brake pedal, too. Owned ~ 20 Ford's in my life and never had an issue except with this truck. I'm 5'10" and wear a size 12 shoe.
I have the driver seat nearly all the way back as I tend to drive with my legs fairly straight. I've noticed if I pull my seat forward...
I have a Bakflip MX4, too, and do not have any water coming in between the panels.
For mine, I've only had it in rain twice so far. First time I drove through hard rain for several hours and only had minor water drips inside the bed.
The 2nd time, though, I had it parked outside my parent's...
I got the Signature Lux lights and I'm happy with them. (I paid the shop I bought my tonneau cover from to install them.)
They ended up doing the battery connection method of install instead of using an aux switch, which I was totally fine with. I was going to have them on all the time...
Did they just touch up the spot or did they paint the whole panel?
My fear is even with the repair done, unless they grind/sand away some of the metal to give more clearance between the metal and the top of the light, it's just going to chip again after a while.
So for those who've had the chip repaired, has the new paint held up? Was thinking that the gap is so tight that even if repainted it would chip again. (Or when they repaired yours did they do something with the fender so the gap was not so tight?)
How thick is the console cover pad? For now, when I set my seat position where I want it, I find the center console armrest to be a little low. Wouldn't mind a little more height to it....
I just turned the lane centering off. No matter what I did I could not get the alerts to stop and it was super annoying. That feature is not something I really need to have on all the time, anyway. The lane departure is enough for me.
Have ~ 700 miles on mine now. Had to go on a trip 4 hours away 3 days after I got it. I took the scenic route which took 5 hours but I also went through towns and on side roads at times. (Wanted to vary the speed throughout the trip for break-in purposes.)
I had MPG's at 20 or a little over...
Question for those who have done the tune:
What mode did you daily drive in pre tune (Normal, Sport, etc) and did you change your daily drive mode after doing the tune?
Don't have the tune yet. (~ 600 miles on the truck now.) I find myself going back and forth on what mode I use. I like...
That's a smoking deal given there is only ~ $2,500 spread between MSRP and Dealer Cost on these. (Note I said Dealer Cost, not Invoice.)
Of course some had early rebates and of course DOC fees and other add-ons will get the dealer some of that back, if applicable.
Well after a long wait, and a switcheroo to a different Raptor, mine finally came in about a week ago. I have ~ 600 miles on it. Had to do a road trip for work and I took the scenic route on roads with varying speed limits to/from to properly break it in. :)
Thanks to everyone who posts on...
My truck just landed, October build, and I did not have the paint chip but the gap between that top corner of the driver side taillight is less than the passenger side.
Also, the panel gap on the side of the tailgate is narrower on the passenger side, too, compared to the driver side...
