I don't foresee any issue at all with adding this. Just keep your original yellow plastic plug in the dash and if you turn it in you always swap it out on your last oil change or something. Either way, if you are considering this because you want to do your own maintenance, I suggest you keep...
Took my '25 RR into the dealer on Friday to get the ProCal installed. Tech was unable to install it after trying 3 times. He called the Ford Techline and they suspect a bad cable. That is a possibility I guess but I'm wondering if something else may be causing this. Maybe a software update...
Hi, if it isn't too late could you change my order to include black hardware? I haven't received notification of shipping yet so hopefully I caught you in time. My order# is 72858 and was ordered on May 12th. I think it would be a great idea to make the black hardware an option at order time...
Just bought mine on the Ford site for my '25 RR. I was able to use the discount code and my FordPass Rewards. I added the installation and having it delivered to my local dealer for pickup. I'll need to call them and setup the installation appointment. I noticed that my other dealer closer...
I saw references to an LED light bar that that is mount just behind the front grille. Anyone have a link or info on that option? It looked really nice from what I remember.
Just ordered mine last night. This is an obvious design flaw on Ford's part and this AAL solution is how it should have been built. I'm eager to see what new products AAL has coming out for the Ranger.
Yeah, I wasn't bothered by the factory plate removal as it is pretty easy. I'm more interested in something that extends further back and protects the transmssion as well. I'll take a look at the 3rd party skid plates.
Great write-up. I totally missed the picture on their site with that gap before I started this thread as it looks pretty much like the picture I took after install. I loved the Ronin on my F150 and was just concerned with the fitment and that gap. However, I will say their support replied...
I'm getting my keypad installed at my dealer in 2 days. It was built into the truck when ordered but is now a DIO for '25. I know it will be black and not paint matched. I'm going to ask them to program it but not put it on until I come out and look at mounting options and see what I like...
Yeah that was a little surprising to me as well when I got my '25 RR. All of the pictures of the '24s that I saw had the 12V DC and 120V AC ports in the bed. My guess it is just another way for Ford to cut costs on anything they can. Likely the same thing with the park assist but that one...
That is a nice service to have the work done at your home. I'd be interested in knowing how the tech avoided leaving an oil mess in your garage with the stock drain plug. My guess is that they come prepared with tarps and/or cardboard mats.
