I have a new set of them in the box. Ordered them before my truck was built and then found out about the bed changes in later builds. PM me if interested.
On my prior 2021 F150 Platinum, the parking brake would seemingly set if the truck was parked on a steep incline. My 2024 RR doesn't do this when parked on the same incline. It would be nice if it did.
I'm not going to move on over a little noise from the AC compressor. What I will do is go find another Ranger Raptor and see if it exhibits the same noise as mine. If it does, then it's normal and just annoying. If it does not, then I will take video of both and press the issue. To me, it...
I too have a noise coming from what sounds like dead ahead of the steering wheel in the dash somewhere. It's pretty infrequent so that one isn't bugging me yet, but the clicking/whining/noisy compressor sounds abnormal.
If you get traction on getting it addressed, please let me know. It's that one thing about the truck that pisses me off. I'm OCD about noises and while AC compressors do make some noise, this seems to be excessive.
Mine has a slight rattle at startup (500 miles), but it's nothing that would make me think there's a major issue. I've heard some of the cam phaser videos where it's really loud, but my truck built 09/24/24 seems normal. It does make a little noise that settles down within about 2 seconds of...
That's how it works. You can set up our raptor mode using the R on the steering wheel, and click that twice once you start up the truck to reset everything how you like. I too prefer comfort as the default.
I think I have the same noise on my Ranger Raptor. It's definitely coming from the AC compressor. It is a lot louder than I'd expect it to be in the cabin. Almost sounds like the compressor has a small knocking noise as it rotates around. AC works perfectly fine, but the noise is most...
I'm not trying to pose a Ranger Raptor for a F150 Raptor R. lmao! What makes a Raptor R is the powertrain, and we're not even in the same ballpark. The whole idea is since they plastered code orange inside, I considered bringing a bit of it to the outside. I wasn't sure which color I'd want...
Before I install them, I’ll just say I duplicated my order so I could get two different colors for the tailgate inlay and for the running boards. I can go solid colors or mix-n-match. Cactus Gray and Code Orange. Which do you think looks the best?
I do have code orange outlines on the grille...
My 24 RR with 300 miles on it develops a mechanical whirling / light clicking noise when hot near idle. You can hear it change pitch with RPM. Gear doesn’t matter, but it sounds like it’s something in the input side of the transmission. I’ve had three other 10 speed automatic vehicles using this...
