I like the auto hold feature a lot!.I have arthritis in my ankle and get uncomfortable when stopped at light for a few minutes. It is suprisingly smooth. I havent felt like I needed to apply extra brake pressure. I dont notice anything when coming to a stop. Its also very smooth when accelerating...
Turned mine around also! Might be a concern for whiplash though...Had a 2018 Ford Edge before this with a ratcheting headrest. Im going to research that and see if it will fit. I will circle back and let the forum know what I find out.
I have a 2024 Lariet 2X with a little over 5000 mi on it and 1 oil change. .Now running full synthetic. I drive 80 to 90% city stop/go and the rest highway in So Cal. I avg 14.8 mpg. If Im careful and stay under the turbo threshold I get 16 mpg. I did one 600 mi trip on mostly highway and got...

I got the 7yr/ 100K on my lariat 2x in Calif .Approx $3500 Can't shop for prices in Cali because of stupid regulation. I'm not really super mechanically inclined and a bit lazy...So for peace of mind on the electronics and the bigger things I'm ok with it.
The bottom or part you actually sit on is a bit loose on the drivers side. Not enough to bother me. Could be a problem if it was to get worse over time...Everything else looks good
I discovered a workaround for the auto/hold feature which can be a nuisance when trying to park in a tight space with either a wall in front or behind.
When creeping up to a wall I release the seat belt. The auto/hold feature is temporarily disabled if you remain under idle or just above and you...

just discovered a workaround .If you take off the seat belt while at a idle speed and moving very slowly the auto/hold feature is disabled and the seat belt alarm does not come on .The truck will continue to move in forward or reverse while breaking as many times as needed to park.

That's a great question.I am also wondering if the alarm warning can be shut off when the tailgate is down and in reverse? I carry things that are a little longer than the bed and when backing up the alarm warning thinks you are too close to something because the camera is pointing directly at...
I have seen the notice also. Your right it goes away to quickly. I also read somewhere that one of the reasons it doesn't stay in Eco mode is because of safety. Ford is concerned that if your in that mode and needed to react quickly( step on the gas)to a hazard it would be to slow. Which I read...
I have a 2024 2X2 Lariat. Is there a setting to allow the vehicle to stay in Eco mode permanently. Or do I have to keep switching back from normal mode to Eco mode every time I start the truck?
