I successfully installed the Long Ranger 37-gallon tank I got from Canada via Australia. Install went perfectly. I think there might be a slight difference in the transfer case cross member between Australia and NA because the pictures did not match. However the additional carbon canister...
I don’t anticipate anyone developing a fix for the Rangers if Australia has not. This has been an issue for the Super Duties since 2023 and S&B just came up with a solution this month for the Super Duty. The Super Duty is way more popular in NA than the Ranger. Due to the shape of the tank, it...
You would have to add 75% to your actual mpg to make that work. 17 mpg would have to read almost 30 mpg and since the tank shape varies it would only be accurate towards the bottom of the tank. I don’t see the point. I would rather have an accurate mpg calculation and trip odometer where I can...
I am in the US and with favorable exchange rates I got my tank for $2800 USD after shipping and import fees.
I just hit 310 miles on my 37-gallon tank and my gauge is reading half. Calculating gallons burned from my mpg is 17.51 gallons burned at half tank. This calculates out perfectly to 35...
Maybe your fuel sender got bent during installation or something. I am still on the first tank with my 37 gallon Long Ranger tank and so far I have not experienced the gauge acting this badly. After tank install I put 3.5 gallons in to get down to the gas station And the truck said 8-miles to...
It sounds like the tank size can be changed with FDRS to correct the DTE calculation. From reading Super Duty forums only a few technicians across the country have been able to figure it out so it must not be very straight forward.
I just installed the Long Ranger 37-gallon tank. Fuel gauge works, but it takes longer to come off full due the size and shape of the tank. I have 150 miles on the tank after filling up for the first time and the gauge came off full at about 130 miles at 17.6 mpg computer on this tank. I will...
I have not tried yet, but I don’t think It can be done on Forscan on vehicles that are. 2023 or newer. I think it can be done in FDRS, but it sounds like there are only a handful of techs out there that can do it. Gauge reads fine and I just know that I can almost double the miles to empty that...
I installed in my garage by myself. Drove up on a set of ramps, lifted the rear onto jack stands, and used floor jacks to lower old tank and raise new tank.
Yes, it can be done on the NA Ranger Raptor. BdyCM Plain English, change Placard Pressure Front, PSI and Placard Pressure Rear, PSI from 39 to whatever you want. I changed mine to 29 and have not had a problem.
