Youāre welcome! If you plan to really push the truck in high temps during desert runs, you may want both. The difference is that the intercooler will benefit you all the time while the transmission cooler would only be beneficial when you push the truck off-road.
I donāt consider an intercooler (at least on a Raptor - I canāt say for sure what it does on your Mustang) to be a modification that would require an adjustment to the tune. The intercooler doesnāt add much horsepower in and of itself, rather it maintains power by keep IATs consistent pull...
I havenāt yet. Iām waiting to see who else comes out with one. Iāve been happy with both Whipple and CVF on my F150s. This is an upgrade I want to do, but I havenāt made it a priority. Again, I may hold off to see what else hits the market and then try to pick one up on a Black Friday sale.
I havenāt been up to that speed yet, but Iāve seen it posted elsewhere that it was not removed.
Youāre welcome! This thread has been the biggest mess Iāve ever seenā¦
After driving the truck several times, I can say that I would absolutely buy the tune again without hesitation! The...
I got my tuner Thursday afternoon and immediately installed it Thursday night when I got home. Iāve put about 200 miles on the truck so far, and I can say that the tune makes a big difference. I already had 10,000 miles on the truck, so I had a good sense of its power and driving...
Iāve been running modified and tuned vehicles for 20 years and have yet to have a warranty claim denied. I had the transmission blow up on my SHO one time, and Ford still fixed it - and that car was tuned and visibly modified.
So is it possible I could have a claim denied at some point in the...
Got my tuner today and installed the tune when I got home tonight⦠Iāll drive the truck tomorrow and report back when I can. It was super easy and took about 30 minutes from start to finish.
Got my tuner from Lethal Performance today, and I installed the tune when I got home tonight. It took about 30 minutes in total.
I didnāt have time to drive the truck tonight, but Iāll report back in the next day or so.
According to Lethal Performance (I spoke to them this morning), they were supposed to get a shipment of 35 tuners this today. They also planned to ship them back out today if they arrived early enough. If not, they will go out tomorrow. They obviously have way more than 35 orders, so if you...
Thanks! Iām not in a huge hurry, but it made sense to order from Lethal since they have their Labor Day sale going.
I just bought a 2000 LX470 that Iām busy playing with anyway! When the RR tune comes in, itāll give me a break from the Lexus!
I just ordered mine from Lethal Performance. Itās live on their website this morning.
To those who ordered yesterday from them (via phone or chat), did they indicate they have these in stock and ready to ship? Or is it still a preorder? The FP website does not show them available yet at the...
Iām just passing this on. The truck I originally ordered has arrived at the dealer. MSRP and no dealer adds.
It is Shelter Green and the only option is the optional beadlock (capable) wheels.
It is at Bill Utter Ford in Denton. You must ask for Micah Hartman!
Good luck!
I use the ditch lights now for illumination on my property - not for driving. The lens is a combo lens from DD (driving and fog), so even aimed as they currently are, they cast light both straight ahead and at a very wide angle. I even use them to play basketball at night with the kids! I...
There are already holes in the bumper that I used - 4 of them. The trim piece that surrounds the opening has clips to hold it in place. I removed those clips and used 5/16ā stainless hardware to āhangā 1/4 x 1ā flat bar approximately 1/2ā below the plastic trim piece. I then drilled holes in...
I finally got a chance to install my front facing lights - not sure what if anything Iāll do for the rear yet. I used SS3 combo lights (driving/fog) for the ditch lights and M&R brackets. The lower lights are SS2s (driving pattern). I fabricated my own brackets for that. All in all, it was a...
Thanks for all the info. I ordered the SS3s, but the brackets are on backorder at the moment. I found some from a company called M&R. Iāll report back once I get everything installed.
Iāve had several F150 Raptors too, and the consensus among most owners (at least gen2 and gen3) is 36psi in the front and 34psi in the rear. Iām running that setup in my RR as well.
