I didn’t. I was going to and might do it in the future but I didn’t really need a secondary battery for now. If I was going to do long camping trips then I would have put in an aux battery.

As an FYI the guys at Hennessey were looking to get to 500 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. My thinking was if the ford Procal tune got me to 450 with stock intercooler, I figured that’s close enough and I got to add a winch.

the guys that did my winch install at Texas truck works said it was really tight with the stock intercooler. I also spoke with the guys at Hennessey and they said with the 3rd party intercooler they were using, a winch wouldn’t fit

I went back and double checked the winch and it’s actually the Warn VR EVO 8-S. I ordered the Zeon 10 but they eventually put on the EVO 8-S. Apologies for that. I just realized now. Anyway, I really haven’t noticed any performance issues.

Shipping was a bit of a b*tch. Cost me like 500$ to get it here from Spain but I needed it quick.

I had a winch plate shipped over from Europe and the guys at Texas truck works did it. Turned out nice but I would imagine you can get winch plates in the US now for way cheaper than what I paid. I needed everything done last year before shipping the truck overseas.

these look nice. I took a hair dryer, nail polish remover and some elbow grease and was able to get mine off. In the right light you can still see a bit of an outline but you have to look hard.
