Well the dealer I was talking to told me today they won't be placing anymore Ranger orders until the J-Brace recall is addressed. Apparently some dealers are refusing to install them because you have to cut some stuff.

So maybe they are just installing them at the factory now then?

Well I got response back from Shanna Not entirely sure what the J-Brace recall is, the only thing I can find is an aftermarket part to stiffen the bed so it can support more weight.

Ah ok, well then a couple more questions lol. Does that dealer require a big deposit? And also how does that work with taxes being out of state. Does Missouri make you pay sales tax there? And then I have to pay them when I get back to Ohio too? Edit: Oh never mind on the sales tax, apparently...

Does below MSRP matter if you have X plan pricing? we're already saving like 2k or so with x plan pricing through my wifes work stuff. I honestly don't mind getting a 2025, 6+ months would be ideal for us to let our credit creep up some more and build up a down payment.

These dealers aren't super big, but I'll ask. I know they only got one raptor in and he said they don't have any others coming. I'm not sure if it's common for a dealer to only get one allocation though?

Cool, the dealer I went to look at today said they only charge $100 for a deposit. I need to call the guy and make sure if I order through them I'll get it at MSRP cause the one they have now is marked up. Not going to wait 6 months and then have to pay more on top....lol
