Your screen dimmed because there is a sensor in the middle of your dash near the windshield and something is covering it. I found this out because I installed a dash mat and if it shifted some the cut they had wasn't big enough.
I have don't it. Also added a deep pan while doing it.
Its not that hard. Hardest part is checking fluid temps when its hot and not burning your hand or arm.
Mine arrived with the packing boxes totally destroyed and damage on sliders.
Called them and spoke to customer service manager and he was a totally nice guy. Had a new set made in 3 days and with my help on what the boxes need to be stronger they packed them much better and they arrived great...
I didn't, if anything they seemed a tad higher. I do pull an overland trailer that's about 3k and going up very steep grades out west.
I'm thinking the full skids might be blocking air flow so the cooling fins not getting to do their job.
