Bakflip tonneau cover from Real Truck. Works as it should. All parts included. Still installed on my truck until 4/26 or so, if you want to see it in place.

I’m the OP for this thread. I ordered a Diamondback cover over the weekend. I also have a roll of sign vinyl, a pack of rubber grommets, and some silicone caulk ready to go before I install the Diamondback.
I know this is overkill for a lot of people, but I want the bed area waterproof.
I also have a bedrug and haven't been using it due to water leaking through my Bakflip cover I initially bought. I'd like to get back to using it and not have to put luggage in plastic bags when traveling.
For those of you with Diamondbacks, how's the water intrusion? I'm looking to get to 99.5% dry, and realize it's going to take some other work to get there.
I'm a novice when it comes to automotive wiring, so please be nice. Based on numerous searches and reading through accessory hook up threads here, I haven't found my conclusive answer. Am I correct that I need to go to the aux fuse and relay box to start any wiring run for accessories?

LOL, as a former BMW and Porsche owner, any type of notification scared the crap out of me, thinking I had something wrong that was going require an immediate tow in for a $20k engine or transmission replacement. Ultimately, that "out of warranty" nervousness, drove me to my Ranger Raptor.
Thank you for posting these pictures. I believe that we have the exact same cover, branded with different names. I could post my pictures that look the same, or slightly worse. I agree that a lot of what you are showing is from the stake pockets and plastic cap not being sealed. My issue is...
Thanks to all, for the replies. Unless we have vastly different definitions of what it means to say "a little water", it seems like there are many people out there with covers that keep the back "dry", or at least significantly more dry than my experience.
I also have a full bed-rug and am...
I'm new to owning a truck. I knew I wouldn't get to "waterproof", but thought I'd be able to get close. I've read all of the threads regarding sealing up the swiss cheese rails under the plastic rails and will go that route. I also have the Keko tailgate seal that's just arrived and will put...
Has anyone done this to a Hot Pepper Red with the decals? I’m not sure about standard black or some shade of grey to match the decal. Same question on the Raptor logo, if I wanted inset letters, HPR or grey?
With the way the tonneau cover will spread the load, I wouldn't be worried at all.
With a 88lb limit, does that mean I can't get up in the bed and then sit on the side for a minute? I certainly hope not.
