I bought an Amazon one and made my own brackets using gusset plates and the holes already pre drilled in the truck. Look up my other post I put pictures up
I know people have talked about this in the other threads but wanted to make a focused one for the mpg following install of Ford performance tune.
anyone that’s installed - what’re you seeing? Better? Worse?
Has anyone ordered from them?
I placed an order through fordoempartsoutlet which is getting the item from quirkparts.
I’ve tried several times to cancel the order through both companies and neither will respond. Quirkparts voicemails are all conveniently “full”
considering filing a fraud case...
I didn’t, it’s a truss gusset plate it came like that with the holes. I just made a couple big enough to get the bolt through and used the existing holes to mount the hardware onto
If you’re like me, you don’t like the Ford extender because of the stupid shape that takes away two big chunks of your tailgate. I prefer the U shaped ones to get the full space of the downed tailgate, but they don’t make any yet for the RR nor do the 23 Ford brackets fit and most importantly, I...
Does anyone on here have an idea of where to find a mounting bracket for a tailgate extender?
The truck has the two pre-drilled holes on the d post in the bed about 4 inches apart - I cannot for the life of me find a bracket that’ll fit and that I can attach the bed extender swivel mounts to
I didn’t realize there was a dash menu for auto start stop.
Conclusion… it says outside temp is too high to turn the engine off.
so all of you complaining about the auto start stop or buying kill switches or tunes for this.. just move to Florida instead ?
if I have my daughter with me I’ll drive with windows up and ac on but when it’s just me, I prefer the windows down and feeling the wind (on that note, I really like the electronic sliding rear window on this truck for the wind to pass through with less drag). I don’t turn the ac on with the...
I got the Bakflip mx4, super durable and light, low profile and flips all the way up so you get full use of bed still. I love it - has one on my last truck too. No drilling needed, super easy to assemble
I went from a frontier, to a Colorado, back to a remodeled frontier and now the Ranger raptor - I’ve ALWAYS used my truck as a truck and gotten use out of my bed. One must have feature for me so the tailgate extender - drop your tailgate, flip that thing over and you basically have a full size bed ?
Dang, 2wd I’m guessing?
I was getting about 300 to the tank on my RR, with the tonneau and about 600 miles broken in I’m averaging about 19mpg about about 360-370 per tank
