Didnāt know about the F150 part.
You can easily reach in and disconnect the headlight harness without taking anything apart.
I just got the harness and cut the connector off and soldered on a twist together inline fuse.
I donāt much more about forscan.
Pin #9 is the marker lights, which has a constant 12V and comes on with the marker lights/headlights. (Forscan can make it always on)
Pin #3 is DRL which is always on but does dim/reduce voltage.
I switched the pin to #9 because I wanted full 12V and switched with the marker lights.

I saw that there was a part number for the entire assembly and it seemed to be a lot cheaper then getting the individual parts. Never investigated the assembly availability.
Parts were available within a couple days.
Initially just the axle was ordered then they realized the carrier was damaged as well. Back on the road in three weeks.
I installed my signature lux grille lights. Powered them with the SPV headlight harness. They came out great.

The SPV harness came with the tap on pin 3 (DRL@5v), I switched it to pin 9 (marker lights@12v). My marker lights are always on along with the grille lights.
Just one shaft and the differential (the center carrier and gears).
