Then your truck has the same problem.
I suspect you have connections to some Ford dealer the way you are defending this, and calling my wife and I just complainers.
Either you are a part of the solution
or
You are a part of the problem
WHY do you think the foam SPLITS?
Any clues?
Do you SEE any support on the back half of the "flex mat" ?
That is what SUPPORTS your foam cushion when you sit on it.
I am 215 my wife is 115, BOTH of us experience PAIN when riding in it for more than 1/2 hour
It FREEFALLS in the center of your...
So the FOAM cushion SPLITTING in half after 600 miles does not tell you anything and even bringing it up is just for the love of COMPLAINING? If there is a problem the DESIGN ( "flex mat" ) there IS A WIDE SPEAD PROBLEM. If FORD does offer a solution for this, you make sure you pass on it...
The excessive wrinkling and sagging in the Rapture "leather trim"(better off with high-quality vinyl )should be an indication of the lack of full support under the foam cushion it is wrapped on. The "flex mat" to support the foam you sit on is ridiculous. Maybe the Rature has something...
Maybe you need to stop being a smart ass, this IS a serious PROBLEM. Both our backs and butt hurt after riding in it for any length of time What can I say? It doesn't? . True - I never rode in a Rapure Ranger, maybe the side bolsters are not the same, and the tight vinyl upholstery lends more...
The REAL problem is that it causes back damage. I have a new 24 Ranger with 1800 mi on it and we don't drive it because it is so uncomfortable. The 24 high tech Ranger is an AMAZING truck except for the front seats
You can test and feel yourself by putting your hand under the seat on the...
Everything will fail. The problem is that there is no support under the foam seat cushion, #4 basket is insufficient support for the back half. The back half of the seat just freefall sinks with weight. Put a 3-4" plate in the middle of the frame to support the foam.
I am quite sure the problem is the same on the Rapure as the XLT after looking at the Rapure tread on the seats. There simply needs to be positive support of the foam cushion under the seat in the middle of the seats (Drivers and Passanger) Some comments are:
24 Rapture - Similar issues. Pic...
My wife drives around in a 2006 Pontic Vib and LOVES it, she is not a fussy person or a whiner, We have a new Equinox and have no problems driving any distant with anything else. We had to go half way across Wisconsin Saturday for her huge family Xmas. It would have been great to take My Ranger...
Yep - I am 6' and 215 also but I can't run a marathon but work outdoors more than most. the problem isn't the back of the seat, its the cushion. My wife will not ride any distance because she does not want her back to hurt - its as simple as that I don't either Everybody riding in this...
Agree. I saw the work around is to put a weighted object on the right side of the steering wheel. Slight pressure is all it need to satisfy it. I saw it on a youtube video on a F150 works perfect, he was able to eat a sandwich.
They are the same build - Different fabric (and I am pretty sure the Bronco has the same problem.) I have seen the complaints of the beautiful vinyl seats in the new Rapture looking terrible over a short amount of time. Loose and wrinkled. That is from the vinyl on the cushion being...
The seats are UNBEARABLE in my 2024 Ranger. They need to be redesigned. If you feel under the seat with your hand, you can feel the low-density FOAM in the middle of the seat which is UNSUPPORTED there, then at the same time push down on the top of the seat, in the middle with your fist and you...
The problem is that the seat foam is not supported. Put your hand under the seat and on the foam toward the rear of the seat. Then make a fist and press down on the top. You can feel that the foam just goes down unrestricted. The foam must be 100% supported on the bottom of the foam like a...
