Mine recently did sent the alert while attached to a battery tender as well. I tested the battery, it was fine, I think it was because the truck hadn't been started or driven in a few weeks.

I used to do leave the hood closed on my Mustang with the tender kind of hanging / resting on headers, extension cord coming up from under the car. On my Ranger I'm fortunate to be able to garage it, so the hood is up when charging.

He didn't say and although I watched the entire process, I couldn't tell if he had to tighten them or was just checking them for snugness.

The tech that came out and did mine in my driveway said they are supposed to remove the seats to gain access, but he'd done enough of them that he was able to reach the bolts by removing the side plastic trim. Took under half an hour, all good.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "fits 2019 - 2024"? Do you happen to know what frequency the TPMS operates at? For 2019 - 2024 it's 315 mhz, in 2025 they switched to 433 mhz.

I don't use it for short freeway trips, but on longer ones, I love it.

'19 - '23 are Gen 5 & '24 - '26 are Gen 6

Glad to know I'm not the only one annoyed by this. Mine's been doing the recirculating A/C thing intermittently, I'm not sure exactly what triggers it, but I too wish I could control it.

When I read about the take a ways on the '26's, I'm glad I purchased a '25 model. No, it doesn't have the self parking feature like the '24, but it's a rare day that I have to parallel park it, so no big deal for me at least.
