Mine showed up as the usual software announcement screen and clicking details showed the installation details. Ford may be rolling it out over a period of time or maybe your vehicle VIN isn't affected.
Dealer replaced my battery under warranty. I asked Service if they got a bad batch in the Rangers. His reply was they were replacing a lot of batteries in all mid size vehicles at a high rate. most of them with low mileage and under a year old. if you're under warranty I'd see the dealer...
I have just started experimenting in different modes. it seems better in Sport mode. I am usu. in normal mode when driving and thats where i experience the issues.
My Dealer changed the valve body and reset the controller. I cannot say it has fixed the problem yet as i have not gone on a road trip since. Around town it seems kind of herky jerky and that could be engine related. the people here saying a tune fixed it may be on to something
I am having issues with my battery also. 2024 XLT. 13k miles. Over the past few months I have been getting messages that some functions are shutting down to save battery. I went away for 2.5 weeks and the battery was flat dead. 2.2 volts. I jumped it and let it idle for a few but the battery...
Don't seem to have any noticable issues. No better than before but no worse. I am not impressed with the transmission in this vehicle but I can't specifically say it's not working the way Ford intended
My state, Nevada, issues 2 plates. You must use the front plate if there is a front plate bracket. As such, dealers do not install front brackets and used car owners remove them. Don't LAUGH.
2024 Ranger XLT FX4 2.7L turbo. I just did a trip from NV to FL and back and got 19-20 mpg average for the round trip (calculated). All of it Hwy @ around a 70 mph average speed, meaning much of it was @ 75-80 mph (I40 EB, I10 WB)
Update: I showed up at the dealer and spoke with one of their service managers rather than my service advisor drone. He told me that was the policy at this dealer for transmission issues. He said he understood my frustration with it. He also said he came from another dealer and this process...
So here's an update on my transmission issue. I booked an initial oil change today and explained my concerns and observations regarding my transmission. my service advisor advised me it would need to be evaluated by the transmission shop and that will take 3-4 weeks. WHAT?!!!! I never heard...
2024 Ranger XLT. I just completed a 6000 mile road trip to Florida and back. Almost all highway driving. i experienced what I would consider jerky/clunky downshifting at highway speeds when downshifting from top gear to a lower gear for passing or hill climb. I would expect much smoother...
So they are not just add the brackets at the assembly stage? I'd like to see what the redesigned load bed looks like then. It certainly would be a more cost effective solution to have integrated welds and gussets rather than a bolt on accessory bracket.
