  1. Navigation stinks

My 2024's navigation system stinks. I'm taking a road trip tomorrow and half of the stops wouldn't show up in my search menu. I had to use coordinates instead. One hotel that I used the phone number search found the address but using just the address showed "no results" Like I said half of...
  2. What does everybody keep their tire pressure at?

I run what the door jam says on my 24 Lariat Fx4. 30lbs. All 4. Still rides taut.
  3. Ranger 2.3L for towing in the Rockies?

they are different but no difference in power or increased towing capacity. Even though you can tow up to 7500lbs if you stay at or below 5,000 the 2.3 will do just fine.
  4. 2.3 or 2.7 with a cross country travel trailer road trip planned?

If towing 5,000 lbs or less the 2.3 would be fine. Both are rated to tow the same amount. If towing max 7,000 lbs. all the time the 2.7 would be prudent.
  5. Ranger Raptor 2024 Homelink distance

With my Lariat I have to be right next to the door. Sucks. Standard remote works over 100 feet away so it must be a known Ford issue.
  6. How would you rate your Ranger at this point?

2024 2.3 Ranger Lariat FX4 4k miles. Love it. Everything I was hoping for.
  7. Speedometer discrepancy

I don't think that's how it works. Mileage is a math function of speed X time. When I changed my 31 inch tires on my last truck to 33's the mileage to work was less and I drove that route 5 years.
  8. Ranger 2.3L Towing 4000+ lb. Winnebago Trailer -- pic & impression

Looking back on the OP's 1st post he wasn't asking for advice but just showing off his new trailer. Then the onslaught of demands on how he tows. I see no "give me some advice on towing this trailer". Good grief he got cross examined on showing off his nice trailer!
  9. Ranger 2.3L Towing 4000+ lb. Winnebago Trailer -- pic & impression

I think at the weight 4500# most are overthinking this. You talk to him like he's a "newbie" with his head up his a$$. I too watch TFL and also know that the WD hitches and trailers are all part of their sponsors. So there's that.
  10. Cheap effective fix for wind noise at B pillar

I had a friend that posted on a forum years back that he spliced a 1k ohm resistor into his temperature sensor and picked up 15 HP and mileage went up 4mpg's. About 500 people bought into it. If your Ranger is already quiet on the highway I would avoid pasting and cluing crap on your truck.
  11. Cheap effective fix for wind noise at B pillar

Yep but lots of owners are buying rubber stripping for the non problem.
  12. Disabling auto start stop.

    No but some don't care.
  13. Cheap effective fix for wind noise at B pillar

Fortunately my 24 Lariat is very quiet inside. No noise behind my head. Looking at the regular door seals unless your doors weren't installed correction one shouldn't get wind noise. I could see it helping if that were the case.
  14. Sync4 Customization Questions

I've noticed when I've planned a route the altimeter goes away. Nothing brings it back until I cancel the route.
  15. First oil change?

This has been entertaining to read. It was like listening the leaders in California explaining the wild fires in LA.
  16. Disabling auto start stop.

Spending $100 so I don't have to hit a button near my right elbow to turn off the auto stop is the most remarkable waste of time and money I've heard. If I don't want it on I hit the button. Such a troublesome issue...
  17. 2.7 XLT Sport or 2.3 XLT FX4 trying to decide

I've driven both back to back. It's not that much of a difference plus the simplicity of the 2.3 is a bonus.
  18. Wireless Charging Issues

I found something interesting the other day. At first my new Motorola 5G power worked fine then I put a heavy duty cover on AND changed my "battery" settings in my phone. I turned off battery saver, turned on battery optimizer and battery overcharge protection. Thought i was doing a good...
  19. I Added A Engine Cover

I wouldn't worry about critters under your engine cover. It's mostly just a topper to the engine without hidden cavities for things to hide.
  20. Latest software update reset all my presets / memory settings

Mirrors wouldn't fold. Ambient lighting off and moved to another section that took forever to find. I opened the rear drivers side door and an alarm went off. That's never happened. Top icons make no sense.
