  1. Dongar mirror cable for dash cam

Slightly (completely) off topic... any suggestions for powering a rear facing dash cam in the back window? My '23 Tacoma had live and switched power to the amp behind the rear seat for example.
  2. Muslogy products

I have the mudflaps & enjoy them. To me, the console cover looks like the slip covers my mom had on the sofa in the 60's, and the stitching that's supposed to look like the AC vents.... doesn't. Ask a friend or neighbor what that stitching is without telling them.... they will have no clue...
  3. Toe clearance. Again…

Seems like a relatively easy fix for Ford would be to lower the free position of the brake pedal an inch or so? At size 9.5 I also have this problem from time to time... in just tennis shoes.
  4. Not getting Sirius XM reception

As a temp measure you can use the XM app on your phone & Bluetooth to the truck. Down side is you'll probably have to use the phone to change channels.
  5. Toe clearance. Again…

Are you asking what is the box that says AIRBAG on it?
  6. Heated steering wheel - not that hot

Steering wheel on my Lariat gets uncomfortably hot. There's a setting for initial heat in forscan.
  7. 2024 and up Ranger Cold Air Intake.

The factory air intake system has to do more than flow air... it has to contain noise... just as much an EPA issue as exhaust noise. An intake can REALLY howl.
  8. Boost and oil gauge psi reading

Again, I think it should say 0. Just like the E & F on the fuel gauge don't change, they're part of the gauge.
  9. Boost and oil gauge psi reading

    Those are ranges, like E & F on your gas gauge.... 0-40, 0-100, C-H.
  10. 2024 and up Ranger Cold Air Intake.

Fudge the inputs on a dyno, get fudged outputs. Its done all the time. The dyno only knows what it's told. It's akin to putting a resistor inline with various sensors, fools the ECU into thinking the engine is colder than it is. The ECU only knows what it's told. INDEPENDENT testing is...
  11. FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet

Can't answer your question but I can say I have this disabled on my Tesla, much more important to see what I'm about to back into/over. I actually found the feature kinda annoying.
  12. Cheap effective fix for wind noise at B pillar

The wind noise I have on my Lariat is up higher, it sounds more like something tiny sticking out into the airflow, and only on the driver side. Barely there, but there.
  13. FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet

Just for historical correctness... the TTA verification should be 2025, not 2024
  14. 2 Versions of Gear Selector?

Shorty shifter envy is a terrible thing to watch ?
  15. FORScan NA Ranger 6th Gen (2024+) Crowdsourced Spreadsheet

I can 100% confirm that for '24 Lariat 2.7, the instructions in TBD section work without modification. I changed the 2 display entries and the "add 8" at 760-03-01 . Confirmed I have all dash displays and ABS kicks in to lock the wheel(s). Note that I end up with different numbers than the RRs...
  16. 2024 ranger raptor auto button

Very simple... It's an endless loop... 3-2-1. You're starting at 1 then going back to the beginning of the loop. Maybe you should start multiple threads about it.
  17. Insurance costs

Auto insurance has morphed into something it was never intended to be, and we accepted it. When you have a claim, typically your rates increase. Giving someone money, then recovering that money in monthly payments is called a loan. I have a bank for that. Insurance is supposed to involve risk...
  18. Insurance costs

$3616 '24 Lariat full coverage SF Bay area, clean record, multi-car + m/c +homeowners discounts. It is what it is. People in Kalifornia are not in a mood to change insurance companies right now.
