2024 ranger xlt 2.3 with 2.5 super lift level.
Pics on stock wheels were with 1.5 in wheel spacers which worked great
Aftermarket wheels are 17x8 25 offset, they stick outside of the wheel well just slightly
Tires are nitto ridge grapplers 255/80/17
The tires also fit without the spacers...
It’s like a hybrid setup, so it’s open at the top and one of the sides and it’s also got a snorkel that feeds in air from the hood area. I think the open area is more for sound than anything else.
I bought it and installed yesterday. It’s a pretty nice piece and install wasn’t terrible. Turbo noise is definitely louder, it’s hard for me to hear it accelerating with the windows up because of my exhaust, but if I’m cruising and give it throttle you can hear it very well. I’ll try to get...
So the spacers are only an inch so the studs in the back are longer than that so like three threads come through on the mating surface so most people cut them off, but the xlt wheels have pockets that the studs will fit in them. I did use the sway bar drop links with no issues.
Put 1 inch spacers on and it rides great! The back studs are longer than the fronts and will need to be cut or with the xlt wheels, they fit in the pockets.
Definitely louder than the 5th gen, but still really quiet cruising. I deleted the muffler and left the resonator on my 5th gen, but I always wanted the borla setup. It sounded so good.
Im curious if you could use the same catback. I feel like when the broncos came out, they made 1 catback for both motors. I tried to verify, but corsa doesn’t have the part number for the V6 version for the bronco listed.
I bought the exhaust back in august when it was released. The exhaust has been awesome and has a really good tone and doesn’t drone at all. Depending on the speed and rpm the truck can almost sound quieter than stock. One thing I did find interesting when I was changing the exhaust is that the...
Just spacers. They were metal and good quality though. I don’t plan on doing anything crazy with my truck so the spacers are good enough for now for me. Others have pieced together fox kits from the previous gen ranger and the bronco and made them work well.
Before with just the rangerlifts 2.5 level
After with 255/80/17 ridge grapplers I I have no had any rubbing issues with them and they measure 33.1 inches tall with the calculator I used. The truck performs well with them and doesn’t feel underpowered.
