Excessive heat cycling on rings and hardening too quickly is not really a thing from WOT. Piston rings are hardened during manufacturing, they do not "harden faster" in the engine.... Of course you bring the vehicle up to operating temp first, but you need those pulls to seat the rings...

Do the tune after the install of other components. The tune will take time to adjust based on it's own torque table targets, so let it learn from how you're going to run the truck instead of having it relearn after.

Well, who knows how much leaked into the engine bay. Double checked and this is about 1400 miles worth of driving. That would be an awful amount coating the back of the valves though.

Heads-up on the UPR install, and maybe mine is a one off. I ordered this kit last November. Have about 2k miles on it. I started to notice a heavy oil smell outside the truck and sometimes inside. I kept looking around the engine bay trying to figure it out but couldn't find any oil or leaks...

The 4L shifting logic is absolutely awful. The team at RangerAssault school said Ford was looking at it, and were going to update it, since they deal with the problem a lot..... but I wouldn't hold my breath.
