  1. Ranger 6G Wheel Calculator

Awesome sheet! Since it's a little hard to find when searching the site, A column stating it fits stock wheel/ride height or not would also be a helpful column.
  2. Ranger Raptor Engine Break In Routine

Excessive heat cycling on rings and hardening too quickly is not really a thing from WOT. Piston rings are hardened during manufacturing, they do not "harden faster" in the engine.... Of course you bring the vehicle up to operating temp first, but you need those pulls to seat the rings...
  3. Ranger Raptor Engine Break In Routine

This is the way. Look at the ASTM oil test specs. All the major wear is really at engine oil temps under 160 degrees. Baby the engine RPM's new or old engine wise till it's over 170 degrees, then drive it like you would normally (or like you stole it in my case). During break-in you want to...
  4. Which Fuel Grade do you use in your Ranger Raptor?

I'm stuck like most people with 91+ only on the westcoast. I've also added the sticker on the fuel door for 91+ only. https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-fuel-label-fu5z9a095c That being said, I know it's also controversial, but if you talk to most turbo ecoboost tuners, ethanol gas...
  5. Secrets, Tips & Tricks...Post Them Here

Dang man, that is the wrong link to a larger 7X9 version that does not fit. Back to amazon it goes.....
  6. FP TUNE before or after new high flow air cleaner/ cold air intake install??

Do the tune after the install of other components. The tune will take time to adjust based on it's own torque table targets, so let it learn from how you're going to run the truck instead of having it relearn after.
  7. Under seat Air Vent Extenders?

I bought these after seeing them, thinking it may slow my wifes complaints of how cold the backseat is when she rides back there. It did not work. I didn't actually check to see how much airflow comes out of these, although after installing, cranking the fan to the highest setting and...
  8. Ranger Raptor UPR Catch Can Installation

Well, who knows how much leaked into the engine bay. Double checked and this is about 1400 miles worth of driving. That would be an awful amount coating the back of the valves though.
  9. Ranger Raptor UPR Catch Can Installation

Heads-up on the UPR install, and maybe mine is a one off. I ordered this kit last November. Have about 2k miles on it. I started to notice a heavy oil smell outside the truck and sometimes inside. I kept looking around the engine bay trying to figure it out but couldn't find any oil or leaks...
  10. P061B - 4lo manual downshift from 2 to 1

The 4L shifting logic is absolutely awful. The team at RangerAssault school said Ford was looking at it, and were going to update it, since they deal with the problem a lot..... but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  11. First Moab Run in Ranger Raptor…for a Newb!

Not yet.... I did a package order of intake, intercooler, and piping, and suspension plug protectors. Looking forward to putting it all together :)
  12. First Moab Run in Ranger Raptor…for a Newb!

Nice! We met at the Raptor school. I was the one that bought in colorado and was passing through back home to Seattle. Nice meeting you.
