This is exactly what i did too. then i used some atv to hold in place looks totally flush and almost oem-ish.

I ended up cutting the plugs and actually removing black housing around it. It fits and looks good, but sucks to have to mod it.

I just got a 3d printer for my kids and been looking for something to print. If you can share design. Dumb question how do i load design into printer haha. Right now I just use the Bambu app with preloaded designs. I guess i need to learn more.

How did you get the giant plug throught grill? I was going to mod mine but didnt realize the plug is bigger then the pocket itself.

But you still have to fish the cable from the front though. How did you get connector through it wont fit the "nook" to hit the back even if i drilled hole from back.

These are worse then I expected. I was going to just mod and make work but even the connector is to big to fit. I'd have to cut the cable.

Yea it did. I read another thread about just letting it sit over night and error going away. Ill give that shot if not will make appt at dealer as another thread user had same use and module had to be replaced.

CHecked those fuses. 17 is actually right next to fuse 35 the one tapped. No the cover is still on rear view mirror, I thought about tapping there but figured fuse box safer.
