And they'll reveal that the north American timeline will actually be much sooner and I can finally order the truck I want. I've seen stranger things happen...

A few things:
  1. The two trucks on either side of Max Tran are blurred. The Raptor in the other clip isn't. I wonder why...
  2. That silver clay model they are working on has to be the model that was leaked over almost 2 years ago
  3. Hey, it's the Australian Ranger Raptor

I am super, super excited to see what this new Ranger will look like!!! Hopefully, the US-spec Ranger will be similar to what has been teased so far. I'm hoping we see the 2.7L EcoBoost available on the standard Ranger and the 3.0L EcoBoost for the Raptor.
Two more questions:

1- I'm a little curious about what engines the European models are expected to get. Will they be similar to the US model or not?

2- Do we know if the US will get the Regular Cab body style like the prototype we saw a while back?

-SG

As far as the engines for R.O.W. Diesels. Lots of diesels.
This is my guess:
Base: 2L Ecoblue diesel single turbo, manual and auto
Mid: 2L Ecoblue diesel Biturbo (in current Ranger an Raptor), manual and auto
Upper: 3L Powerstroke V6 diesel, auto only

Raptor: Nano V6 Ecoboost petrol (remains to be seen which version).

The non-blurred vehicle is the FX4 Max, basically what you get as the Tremor.

Yep, it is. But it has been changed. I also suspect they've re-used the clay model of the current Ranger too

Not in that video that I could see

What's the Ranger at 0:46? I thought the Ford grill only went to Raptors.

That's the FX4 Max, our equivalent to the Tremor.

I can’t wait for this reveal either!!! I’m hopeful the US gets a long wheelbase option for a SuperCrew/longbed configuration! It’s the reason I don’t own a SuperCrew Lariat now. I saw a Tacoma TRD Off-road 4x4 the other day in a Crewcab/longbed configuration and it looked great! My ‘02 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat (bought new) is ready for a new home already!!!

I’m taking the day of the reveal off work since it’s the day before Thanksgiving (kids will be out of school). I can’t imagine getting much work done in the office that day anyhow since I’d be scouring the web for Ranger info. ?

You won't see anything about the US version of the Ranger this year it seems, so don't be too worried when there is only one wheelbase for the rest of us.
