2025 with 3000 miles not charging at times.

The battery light comes and beeps says there is a fault. Honda started to use this "smart tech charging" back in the 90s. Checked the voltage with my volt meter.

Smart technology and alternators today are a totally different breed of system than even a few years ago. Without the proper test equipment some can not even be tested without an oscilloscope of sorts and computer equipment. Glad you found the culprit!
