2024 Ranger Raptor, both the console and the bed outlets are dead. I am pretty sure these worked when I got the truck three years ago, but this is the first time I actually tried to power my Ecoflow battery bank. I used a Klein tester to see what is going on, engine running and in Park. Here is my wall outlet:

Here is one of the truck outlets, both show the same faults.

Any suggestions? Is the unit failed? Does it have a physical reset button? Are there any Ranger related service bulletins related to this problem? I have not checked any fuses yet.

Those HOT GND and REV errors sure look like a failed connector, outlet or harness……

Thanks for any feedback before I involve the dealer.

Which battery bank are you using?

I had to install the EcoFlow 800w alternator charger to keep mine reliably charged/topped off.

I have a River 2 Max 512 wh and a Delta 3 Classic 1024 wh. Both charge fine off the truck 12 volt outlet, about 80 watts input, but I was hoping for way more watts out of the 120 vac truck outlet. That 12 volt input is not nearly enough…. I really hope I don’t have to invest in the Ecoflow alternator setup, how much did all that cost?

I got the 800w for free when I bought the Wave AC/heater a few years back. Has worked well so far.

I heard somewhere there were problems with peak pulls on the Ford 400w but I can’t recall where and at what amperage it clipped or downrated.

well that delta 3 classic advertises one hour charging with ac so that means it’s drawing 1000 watts in ac mode and that is too much for the inverter.

but I imagine that tester is showing the voltage without a load?

I wonder if a fuse is blown.

The 60 amp fuse was fine, I am still in warranty, so we shall see. I have a couple of recalls to fix.

I went ahead and bought an Ecoflow 500 watt DC to DC charger, on sale for $199 with free shipping, it has the smaller XT60 solar cable (45 amps max), the 800 version will NOT work with my two units. I lose some of the extra features like truck battery reverse charging, but I don't need that. I do think I will enjoy using the Ecoflow app on my CarPlay truck screen.

My fridge draws about 36 watts (cycling on and off) and I was getting a max of 88 watts input from the 12 volt cigarette socket, for a net positive charge of 52 watts ;(

Going up to a max of 500 watts input will give me a huge gain, almost ten times. That is cool with me!

I will probably just velcro it on top of my battery bank, and unplug it from the battery cable in the off season. It needs to be well ventilated, and easily accessible to operate the power button and to view the lights, and there are not a lot of other options in this tiny tiny Ranger cabin.

Thanks for the comments.
