Still looking. Havent decided if I really want the hybrid or not. In my searches I have found 2 SR5s with over $3k off and now 1 TRD OR Premium with hybrid for $3k off. This is in western states. I am kind of surprised to see those types of discounts already.

Anyone else seeing these types of advertised discounts?

We talking about $50,000-$65,000 vehicles not your average shoppers price or above. You talking about $1,000 a month for 60 months with no interest and taxes. Their 2024 Toyota Tacoma $50,000 sitting on the lots

I would doubt you have seen SR 5 with over 3k off, unless they added a bunch of dealer add ons

I would be surprised. Most dealers have no demo on hand for test drives let alone any inventory, so not sure how some are discounting.

It’s hard to tell. On-line, the dealer doesn’t give complete details of what package is on vehicle. In AZ, it appears prices are increasing.

BTW- we did have a dealer offer TRD ORP at a $3,000 discount and an outrageously high trade for my car. Made it to dealer in 45 minutes. As soon as I walked in dealership, they said on test drive. Long story short. A horrible case of bait and switch. We asked to see the vehicle anyway. No vehicle to be had. Stormed out with a few choice words. Be careful out there. Some dealership are still scoundrels. Oh and most of the staff was calling my boss. Found that a little odd.

Three weeks ago, I found a rare deal on a TRD Sport premium that was oddly marked ~$3,600 off of MSRP North of the Chicago metro area. I had been searching/browsing for this model and for a limited back and forth for months, and didn’t see a silver one coming anytime soon.

All of a sudden, I did a search and this one popped up with a price way below all the others. Minimal options for accessories or add-ons, but it did of course have to include the stupid moonroof (rant/Dear Toyota Allocation Buyer, please stop ordering every frickin’ 4Runner with a moonroof, as only some want it, many don’t!). I asked the salesman why it was discounted, and he said he honestly had no idea, and he knew it would have sold quickly with no discount.

It was showing up at a dealer 3-1/2 hours away from me. I emailed about it that night to check availability and the next morning it was confirmed available with an email back. The dealer salesperson said they would take a $1,000 refundable deposit, so we decided to hold it while waiting until the next week for it to arrive. For transparency, they didn’t want to give us anywhere near what their website’s KBB trade in valuation offered for both of our cars for trade in, so we almost backed out of the deal.

The dealership didn’t add any extras or BS packages required, and the dealer fees were very low, but they did push their 3rd party (non-Toyota) warranties very hard, but they were never rude. My wife didn’t budge, and we came out doing very well on the deal.

In the end, I decided we could sell our cars outright and do much better anyways, so we went ahead and bought it.

Over here in California there are no cars. I placed a reservation in November and I got called two weeks ago and it was the only ORP they had. It was non hybrid and they wouldn’t be getting another one but months. MSRP.

Have you checked the nationwide allocation list and sorted by location for California?

Totally agree.

Here in Canada, a base SR5 is over 57k and top of the line hybrid Trailhunter goes over 87k$. That's with no other options

Not cheap. And you have to add your provincial taxes over this and interest rates at 6.49%.

That's a lot of money.

Watch out. 4 runners and 1958 Landcrusiers, if go see the 4 runners SR5 with a big discount, It will probably have a lift kit, 33” tires, paint protection, theft protection,. I also went to see a 1958 Landcruiser and they added Leather, monster tires, and lift for 20k extra but there add stated 55k, wasted my gas on that one.

I am curious, how much are they asking for those modded 4Runner and LC?

A base 1958 LC here in Canada starts at over 73k!
