Anyone Else Seeing 2025 4Runners With Discounts Already?

I got around 3k off for a loaded ORP. 63k OTD. I had over 6k in add ons I wanted. No bs like PPF and fake ceramic washes and pin stripes etc. And got good trade in values that matched local quotes I got.
My dealership and I have done a lot of business. They know I take care of my stuff and in general I I’ll be back.
I get my ORP in early June. I’ll own it free and clear.

Told them I wanted either more for my trade in or bring down the price. More trade in (after paying it off) and everything out the door to make sure I was <$40k.

If you gave the dealership the option of them giving you more for your trade-in and selling the new vehicle to you at a higher price or lowering their sales prices and giving you less for your trade-in, I thought that 100 times out of 100 times, the dealership would opt to give you more for your trade in and sell you the vehicle at a higher price. But, it seems you are saying they did the opposite, lowered the sale price and lowered the value of your trade-in. I do realize that every deal is different and the demand for whatever you traded in plays a part but if it was a dollar for dollar change they made, then you benefitted by paying lower sales tax, but again, I thought they would always go the other way.

From what I am seeing people are spending less, And not buying big ticket items. Also It is costing Toyota 24% more to ship these cars at a minimum. And after Trump says he negotiated a deal the minimum will be 10% import fees. Plus until you go buy one of these you will never know the real price you have to pay. Seems like a big discount on SR5 ?

Ah got it. Typically you dont include trade in when discussing the actual price of the new vehicle. Just straight vehicle price excluding trade in or taxes.

For example the window sticker price is $60k and the dealer gives you $1k off or something like that.

Yes I didn’t care if it was RWD or 4WD. The only stipulation was it had to be a TRD Sport Premium in red, white, or blue. The 4 runner is what my wife daily drives and she doesn’t go off road. I have a Raptor for anything that involves going off the pavement. Post Oak Toyota had discounts on all their vehicles at the time we purchased.
