Anyone remove Air Dam yet? Any effect on driving feel, MPG mileage?

I think we chatted about this already but I'll post a reply for the rest of the group. I removed my chin spoiler and it is very easy( took about 45 seconds with cordless drill and 10mm socket) there are 9 easily accessible fasteners. Mileage wise I don't expect to see very much difference. Tfl truck noted a .5 mpg difference I believe.

That looks so much better. I can't believe you get that huge front diaper for .5mpg difference.

Does it make any weird whistling noises underneath? Wondering if air flow causes any noises with it off?

No sir. I haven't heard any noises with it off even at highway speeds.

What did you do with the 'felt' piece that was under the air dam into the wheel well? I feel that it would be destroyed if not attached.

So far I've left it alone. I think it should be ok. I went there today and gave it a wiggle. It feels solid enough. I'll keep an eye on it. In the future I will look to add a metal skid plate.
