Question for everyone…. I have a ‘24 RR. Still brand new. I recently did a trip from Vegas to LA and I think the mpg was pretty good. I was averaging almost 20mpg!

I have noticed the city MPG has been awful. No where near the 16mpg as advertised. I realize it’s never going to be that good, I didn’t buy this bc I was worried about gas mileage so much. But I’ve been getting between 10-12.5 mpg just driving around getting groceries sitting at lights. Nothing major. It feels like I loose a mile every time I take off from a red light. I’m just watching the miles drop in real time as I’m driving around town. Is anyone else experiencing this? Will it get better with more break in? I’d be happy with 15 or so, but this thing is sucking gas at what seems like a pretty unrealistic pace for an “eco” boost engine. I feel like I should have the big raptor motor with this mileage. Also, when driving I’m keeping it under 3000rpm and out of the turbos to conserve. Doesn’t seem to help. Picture is my week of driving around town…

Well my big yellow brick Sasquatch Bronco 2.7 would only get 16 average when new. First oil change was better, now after 9k miles I’m averaging 21mpg! I highly recommend using a full synthetic that meets the Ford Specs. I noticed a smoother running engine on cold start ups and better mpg. I change my oil every 3-4k due to off-roading all the time!

I have 2300 miles on mine and the lie-ometer on the dash says 18.6 MPGs.

Based on your display, does that mean it ran 3 Hours and 40 Min. But only traveled at 40 miles.
That would seem to make since that it is only showing 12 mpg.

I have 1300 miles on mine mixed driving with oversized 10 ply tires I am averaging 16.
The day I bought it I had a 5-hour trip home in and averaged 20 on the stock tires.

12 does seem really poor, poor like something it wrong with it. But based on the trip pic posted. I would recommend resetting that trip meter and see if it does not improve.

Ditto, but I'm also on my first tank of gas. I came from a 4runner and was averaging 15 mpg on 50/50 driving. i was hoping to meet or beat it .

Did you get the oil change at ford or 3rd party?

Same. I came from a 4Runner and thought it would at least match. Pretty disappointing so far
