Blinking light on FOB

Anyone know why the FOB light is now blinking? Never noticed it until yesterday. Doesn't do it all the time and works fine. Any info I can find doesn't seem like thats the issue.

Are you standing next to the vehicle? I think some FOB lights just reflect the car periodically pinging the fob when you are nearby

When I first noticed it, yes I was next to it.

Now it does not but I'll pay attention throughout the day.

Indeed, the vehicle and key are communicating. Like when you walk up to the door the interior lights may come on too.
