Hi. Just received a new 2025 Wildtrak with the factory roller shutter. I had real trouble finding the height for the space under the roller shutter housing (the actual roll) online, so in case anyone needs it:
It's 10.75" high with the moulded plastic bedliner.
Someone posted a nice-looking box from Dune that fits under there, but I'm in the Caribbean, and it doesn't appear to be easily available outside of Australia. The factory tonneau seems to be pretty watertight so far, with the caveat that you lose the moulded ruler on the bedliner for the seal; however, I wasn't going to need that anyway. Here's an affordable option that worked for me, where the supply chain is limited:
Three of them line up almost perfectly between the wheel wells. There is a small aperture behind for longer items (I keep a tow rope, crowbar, machete, etc., back there).

stuff there will get wet. I like the idea, but you will need to get ones with lids. I have the same roller and water filters

This is what I expected, but after a few tropical storms (it's hurricane season here), lots of heavy rain, and a few pressure washings there hasn't been a drop yet. Where I park it puts it on a downhill slope towards the roller too. I'm suitably impressed. The seals on both the tonneau and the tailgate are fantastic. I'm sure when the seals wear in it might leak a little but there's nothing back there that couldn't handle a little dampness if it happens.
