Maximum bed load

The payload on a Ranger Raptor is 1400 pounds. If I put a pallet with 1000 pounds of aluminum on it in the bed, will that bed get damaged, I'm wonering because of all the talk on here about J braces ?

As I understand the J brace installation, they are for weight of over 88 lbs put on top of the box sides. Nothing to do with the box floor.

Also, when you read about the J braces, it says "in certain extreme off-roading conditions", meaning people with heavier load above the bed still may not encounter any issues without J braces. Still better safe than sorry on that front.
