I ordered a very similar center storage tray from Amazon from another manufacturer and it fit loosely on the sides.....I even added black electrical tape to help prevent it from dropping down every time I touched it.......I just ordered yours and thanks for the discount code......hope it fits better!....I'll find out tomorrow after it arrives.....

I ordered your two tiered shelving unit for the console. It installed easily, fits nicely, and works pretty well.

However, there is one glaring issue you need to fix. The lower and upper shelves don't have enough room between them. Many items like a mini flashlight, digital tire giage, many pocket knives, mini hand sanitizer, etc can't fit on the lower shelf and the top shelf still attach and fit under the console lid.

However there is plenty of room in the console for the lower shelf to have deep storage shelves floors. If you would make them deeper, this product would work much better.

This is my only complaint on an item that is otherwise very nice to have.

First two pictures show each shelf independently installed, bottom shelf then top shelf. Last picture shows misfit of shelves when an item too large is kept on lower shelf and how it would disallow the console lid to close. The upper shelf will not fit within the console space snuggly, as it is kept up by the items below.

Hope you do a redesign, as id replace this with the new design immediately.

For now I just keep very flat items on the lower shelf.

When I installed mine I put the bulkier things like flashlight, tape measure, etc. under the bottom shelf. So yes, you have to take both compartments out to get to those items, but you do have 3 storage areas now - so pro and con to dropping the second shelf lower depending on what you like.
