I am trying to do my own research on this topic, but I am not finding any answers. First off, thanks for all of you trying to help. I am just so confused, why is there such a vast difference in cost when it comes to Down-pipes? example SPD performance charge 2,245.00 when Fenfab charges 999.99. I have 2-3 more example where the price difference is 2-3 times more than the other. Why is that what makes one so much better than the other that they can charge that much more??
I am not here to argue but here to better understand.
Thank you ahead of time.

General rule of thumb; Quality of materials used, cat or non-cat , amount of welding and quality required in actual assembly, dealer/manufacturer overhead markup. actual manufactures capability to produce the parts in quantity. Lastly, location of manufacture and shipping.

SPD Performance; is way overpriced in most everything they offer. Similar manufactures are up to 50%-60% less. Just because you pay more doesn’t alway mean it better quality than the next.

Looked at FenFab; welding and materials used in manufacturing account for pricing difference between SPD and FenFab.

The problem with performance aftermarket is; there’s no standardized, manufacturing, quality or how much cost markup the market will bare. Limited availability, always push cost higher with some manufacturers and dealers.??
