Just watched a car review on Car Expert on the Australian version of the Ranger Raptor. The price was listed at 64,000$ USD. That is a far cry from the 52,500$ that was leaked before. What are your guys thoughts?

I hope that's for a fully loaded Ranger Raptor, if that's the base price they're crazy! Once the dealers add their markups you'll be closer to $75-$80K and possibly more. No way it's worth that, at least for me it's not. Even $64K is pushing it but depending on how it's equipped I can see that price. We still need to wait and see because now we're going to get a lot of speculation.

Here is another video more in depth about all the Ranger trims and pricing in Australia.

It would be nice if we'd get those different engine options here in the states. I know with the parts constraints it makes it tough but they're doing it over there (and other countries) so why not here? The optional tires and wheels are sweet though. :like:

That seems high when comparing where the Bronco Raptor slotted in above the highest trims of regular Bronco it shares a platform with. The low to mid 50s number thrown out before seemed about right as a starting point over and above where the Lariat Rangers where.

Yeah I wonder if it's high because Australia has to import them or what? But it seems those are the prices the Australian market is getting. Is the US getting a good ole American discount?

The local price is about $5,000 more than the outgoing model Raptor. Also, there are effectively no options on the Ranger Raptor here, base is fully loaded. The only extras at factory are prestige paint and the beadlock wheels.

So is it actually 64,000$ USD?

Sounds like it is for a fully loaded one, yes. That doesn't necessarily contradict having a base model be in the mid $50k range. And that amount of price difference from base to fully loaded doesn't seem crazy considering an F-150 Raptor can be anywhere from $64k to $86k.

The Wayne US plant only has so much capacity. Let's just have the Ranger Raptor as one set model. Your battling with production with 7 Bronco models + Bronco Raptor and on and on. Ranger in XL, XLT, Lariat, possibly Tremor and Rattler. PHEV coming etc. SCAB, SCREW, possibly 2 Door with 7' box. Just focus on getting the vehicles OTD. Offer less options so the vehicles do not sit in a lot waiting for parts. Then think about offering more when the supply chain stabilizes. When ever that will be. Tired of all the Hype. You still cannot place your order for a 2022 Ranger in the ROW.

Direct conversion is US$63,300 or thereabouts, before on-road costs (taxes, registration etc). Vehicles are expensive here.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I was a little worried. I went from comfortably affording one at 52500 to "might need to have a wine and dine and beg conversation with the wife" at 64k.
