I assume they aren’t going to schedule more until after the UAW situation gets resolved. The job 1 date is interesting. Wonder if it’s an error or if they’re counting the marketing and test Rangers that rolled off the line recently.

If they don't schedule and it gets resolved on time then they would be at a loss. If they schedule and there is a strike they would then just delay dates.

They have dates through the week of October 16th or 23rd scheduled already though, so they wouldn’t be at a loss as far as scheduling. If everything gets settled without a strike, then they just pick up scheduling where they left off. If there is a strike, might as well only have to reschedule ~6 weeks worth instead of several months worth.

Not from my experience, but could be different this time.

Long McArthur’s YouTube video tonight answered a lot of questions regarding the Ranger. Two things of note:

1. He said the reason Rangers haven’t been scheduling the past couple weeks is because since the job 1 date kept getting pushed back, the ones scheduled had to be pushed back as well. Makes sense since the other Ford models he went over were scheduling early/mid October dates, and Ranger already has those scheduled out. So in essence scheduling was ahead for the Ranger and now they’ve paused scheduling to get back in line with typical scheduling times across all models.

2. One of the UAW workers chimed in saying no customer/retail orders of the Ranger have been produced yet. They’ve only made the batch for marketing, journalists, etc.
