I almost wonder if the ranger will be marketed as a 2024 but release in the summer?
Or split MY, but i feel like that is odd.

Probably because the R6G isn't completely finished being tested yet and they'll be a few more changes for the N'American version. Less speculation and rumors flying around this way. lol

The picture is the current gen Ranger because 2023 is a carryover model. The next generation Ranger won't be in production until Summer 2023 in North America and it will be a 2024. We are about a year behind the rest of the world on the Ranger. If you order a 2023 when the order banks open next month you will be getting the current Ranger.
