Picked up! 2024 TRD Off-Road in Underground w/ Blackout Package

My first Tacoma. I placed a refundable deposit of $500 back in September 2023. Mike Smith has been keeping me updated since. I got a message that they received an allocation about a week ago. I tried looking it up on the tracker, but it "wasn't" even in the building phase. It said the anticipated delivery was February 10th somehow though. It came in yesterday and I was able to drive to the dealership today. I spent a total of 65 minutes in the dealership. There were no high pressure sales tactics and 100% transparency. I didn't plan on financing but they found me a rate lower than the CDs at my bank are giving me. I'm locking up the funds for 9 months and will come out ahead. Just drove it home and am loving the lane keep assist.

Thats the standard MPG numbers. I saw a video of a test someone did and there was a small difference between spoiler and no spoiler. Maybe 2MPG. I was planning on keeping mine on for a month to get a before number and then taking it off afterwards and seeing how much of a difference it makes. I commute 70 miles a day so it would help to get that extra two MPG if I could get it.

My interest rate on my 6 year loan is lower than the interest rate my bank is providing on 9-12 month certificate of deposits (my cash). I have enough cash to pay off the truck right now. If I invest the cash into certificate of deposits at my bank, in 9-12 months I will have made money if I pay off the loan at that time.

Interest on saving money is higher than the interest I will pay for having a loan.

Nice. I have the same truck in transit but had to take the one with the 14 inch screen. More importantly, how does the power compare to the previous gen? That's my only concern.
