Platinum allocations increasing

Checking out Visor.vin, the Platinum trim is finally starting to increase in allocations. It was the resource I used to find mine.

it was hovering around low 50's across the usa for quite a while, it finally jumped up to the 80s the last week or two per the excel file link

the really sucky part, ND is hurting for any 4R hybrids. 11 in the whole state.

at least its better than SD with only 7

i mean alaska has 14, how the hell does that work out

The spreadsheet shows what's been allocated. This is showing what is listed by the dealers.

the excel file is easier to use since you can filter by model, color, trim, state, dealer and zip.

visor vim is somewhat limited on what you can filter, you can filter by a-z or z-a but you cant exclude like the excel file.

Question for all the folks that wanted a Platinum model. What was the hold up with them, why did they take so long to make an appearance compared to every other model?

its simple, its the bell curve of sales/assembly.

remember toyota builds to a computer program.

SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Sport Prem, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Prem, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, Trailhunter

the ones in bold are the sweet spot of trims and will be the dominant trims on lots and sold. as you reach the edge trims, they will build less of them
