Dude, you're a legend, thanks! Already kinda figured out a few things I'm probably gonna share later, but this will be super helpful.

Alright so here's what I found over the weekend;

On the factory harness, Pink and Yellow wires are powered when the ignition is on. This is why @vready added the Caliraised switches and found the switch illuminated when cycled on and off. Brown is ground,so the other two must be related to the switched circuit.

This means that completing the circuit is VERY easy at this point, once we can find where these wires reach a dead-end in the body harness. Then, once you have some sort of relay/controller for power handling the rest is done.

I happen to have a solid-state lighting controller already so once I get some lights ordered, I'll dig further through the harness and complete the project.

Most def!!

Adding this for future search index. This seems to be an accurate wiring diagram for the factory switch, based on what I found with my meter.

Basically,

Wire 1: Receives 12V when the headlights are on to backlight the switch.
Wire 2: Receives 12V anytime the ignition is on.
Wire 3: Ground for the backlight
Wire 4: Switched circuit (goes to relay or control circuit)
Wire 5: Ground for the light that illuminates when the circuit is active.

(Wire colors below won't necessarily be the same as your dash harness.

This is top shelf reverse engineering. Great work, guys. I know you’re talking about the ORP, but can you clarify if this is gas-only, hybrid, or both?

I saw that it was an option in the ordering page, for an ORP, a couple of weeks ago, but now its disappeared. I tried looking at my local dealer and only the Off Road has the prewired AUX? Am I misremembering or do they not allow that anymore? Really would like the prewired AUX.

My OFP Max has prewired Aux. I purchased 5/17.

I took my gas ORP apart this week and bad news for me, no hint of wiring harnesses for the aux switches. Random question, I also don’t have whatever that far bottom left switch is. Is it a power liftgate switch for the kick trigger? I definitely have the actual kick activation (although it only works like 20% of the time).

If you could post or send that to me, it would be great help. I've been using Alldata for Tacoma at this point, which doesn't appear to be complete.

It's unclear right now what trims might be pre-wired to the dash (that weren't optioned for aux switches). Based on a few Tacoma's I've looked at, I'd guess it might be Hybrid models that have the dash harness pre wired for switches, but that's a guess.

That lends to my thought that it might be Hybrid's that have the pre-wired dash harness.

That bottom left switch is for a rear light that's a part of the trailer towing package. Honestly, the kick activation works so awfully that I've given up trying to use it.
