Yeah I figured the concern would be rigidity with the bars only connected on one side. Not sure how rigid it would need to be for just a fridge slide though. The no-drill aspect is definitely a big part of the appeal of a solution like this, otherwise bolting a fridge slide directly would be probably be more cost effective if I have to drill either way. I have included an almost unintelligible diagram of the idea below. Basically single side rail frame that you could mount a fridge slide to.

I understand what you're explaining. Honestly, I wouldn't feel comfortable build a brace that was that far unsupported on the inside like that. When a fridge is loaded down and bolted to a slider, that's a lot of weight to handle. That being said, I could see a system like that, that utilizes two drilled holes on the inboard side. That wouldn't be too bad since the outboard brackets would fully align the slider.

Makes sense and would be more modular than just bolting in a slide directly. If I can run just the two rear rails, I'd probably just do that, attach a fridge slider on one side, and leave the other side open other than the slight protrusion of the two rails . I'd rather deal with that slight trade-off in order to maintain that fully bolt-on / modular setup.

Great stuff though, I love seeing the innovation. Thankful you and your team have embraced this Ranger platform.

In the other vehicles we support (Wrangler, Bronco, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, etc.) we sell a system called "MASS" which stands for Modular Adaptable Storage System. It works off a grid pattern in the floor. We share the same pattern in all of the vehicles so the accessories are compatible with all (most) platforms. The Ranger Floor RAILS are built on that same platform. That means, any of our existing MASS accessories can be attached to the Ranger Floor RAILS, given the fact that the rails are sufficiently spaced to support the accessory. Some are longer/wider than others.

For example, if you wanted a basic fridge slider, this would get you going and would bolt in directly to the Ranger Floor RAILS - https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-mass-slightly-wider-slider/

If you wanted to save some weight, you could also go with our UltraLight Slider. Those slides are still rated at over 200# - https://americanadventurelab.com/product/ultralight-fridge-slide-6x3-pattern/

The other consideration is slide length. We'll be developing some full length slides for the Ranger that will probably use 48" slides, meaning you'll get a 48" long platform that slides out. In the configuration we tested at Trail Hero Expeditions, we put the fridge all the way to the rear and used the remaining platform for more gear. It's nice to be able to slide it out (below the tonneau) far enough to access the gear on the rear of the slide.

Thanks!!!
