There it is folks!
Solid rear axle with Watts link- coils in place of leafs.Anyone know if the Ranger Raptor has leaf springs or independent rear suspension?
Because its developed in Oz and our Aussie mates have done an amazing job. Very cool! Why is USA literally last to get anything? What happened to "America first?"
Will USA Ranger have pano moonroof....?
I absolutely love the truck, but I would love a pano roof...and full power memory seats. Doesn't look like the US Ranger or Raptor will get these. Maybe the new Colorado/Canyon or Taco will? That's my biggest complaint about the midsize truck segment. We get watered down options. Maybe, just maybe, VW will bring the Amarok to NA? AFAIK, VW tends to put higher end interiors in their trucks. Highly unlikely it will come here, but it would be nice to have another option......and we get less amenities like power mirrors, panoramic moonroof etc.
Because we have such different regulations and customer wants than the rest of the world. From a purely efficient engineering and cost standpoint it's much easier and makes more sense to design for the masses first and make the tweaks needed after that design is done for the select few, than the other way around. Why is USA literally last to get anything? Yeah, I can understand that. Just seems so backwards to me that American company caters to the rest of the world over American consumers, but cash is king in the world we live in. I am just disappointed we are essentially 2 years out from a Raptor release in North America. I wish they didn't even make the announcement.Because we have such different regulations and customer wants than the rest of the world.
