I originally bought this cot to use in my 5th gen, which as we know, has a different folding mechanism for the second row. I finally got around to trying to fit it into the 6th gen (non-hybrid) and it fits. Keep in mind this is a huge cot, I’m 6’6” and I fit perfectly. There are 3 sets of legs, one set is folded and resting on the second row seat backs. I’ll definitely need to get seat back protectors, but the card board is okay temporarily. I laid on it and it seemed good. I have my head oriented to the back, where there are 2 sets of legs.

Thank you for sharing this, I have been trying to figure out a car camping solution before the long weekend and this seems like a quick and easy option.

curious do you think a 2nd could fit?

I don’t think so. The Kingdom is just so big. I did notice that the legs that rest on the seat backs are removable, so I might see if that is an improvement.

Stopped by REI the other day to pick up a seemingly equivalent product called the "Wonderland Comfort Cot," because the Kingdom Cot was not in stock in-store anywhere.

It's also on pretty good sale right now for anyone interested.

https://www.rei.com/product/242928/rei-co-op-wonderland-comfort-cot?sku=2429280001

The package was huge though (33 x 32 x 8.5 inches) -- much larger than I had imagined, so I held off on buying it for now and will go back to the drawing board. If I had a big garage to store my gear in, it would be no problem, but I have a tiny apartment with limited space for bulky camping equipment.

Maybe I'll pick it up in the end anyway. Thanks again for the suggestion!

I noticed that they had a slightly different model on sale as well. I keep mine folded up in my closet, but previously I’ve had to rent a storage unit for my camping gear. Definitely not ideal. But I sold my house when I got divorced you do what ya gotta do.

Tested it out over the weekend. Works well enough for a few nights. Getting in and out of the door is the only challenge.
