I took a quick roadtrip out to Moab a couple weeks ago, wanted to post some pics and videos.

If you're interested in gas mileage, I've got a 2024 Ranger Raptor, the bed has a Decked drawer and maybe 400lbs total weight. I filled up with 87 octane at Maverik at 36 & Federal in Denver and drove west. From when I filled up to when I got to the I70 tunnel, I was at 14.8mpg. By the time I got to Moab it showed 19.5mpg. That's cruising at 75-80 most of the way, obviously slower in the blizzard. For the whole trip, 1,200 miles total - Denver to Moab, some easy trails (Potash Road, Schaefer Trail) and random driving on dirt roads like Anticline Overlook, then back to Denver -- I averaged 18.5mpg for the whole trip. Not bad!

I don't think 4A mode drops the mileage really at all, maybe 0.5mpg or something, I couldn't tell the difference really. I actually did this drive twice and got the same numbers both times. Once on I70 with snow and once without. Got to Moab and had to be back in Denver for a semi-emergency, then decided to drive back out because I already had the time off booked. Anyway, it's a great roadtrip vehicle.

4A mode and "slippery" setting are fantastic. Tires did great on the always exciting I70 through the rockies:

You can easily drive to Harah Pass and Chicken Corners for your next time to Moab. More explore in that area too.

Headed back to Maine tomorrow from Moab. We spent a few days down there from Salt Lake to attend the Bronco Rodeo course by Ford. It was the most fun I have ever had With a 4x4. They supplied the Bronco and we stayed out 8 hours. I am glad my wife’s Wildtrack made us eligable.
Now since I own a RR the next adventure will be the Raptor school.

I was very impressed with my Ranger Raptor on the snow and ice here in Wyoming. The new K03 grip extremely well. I even had a chance to drive a snowy FS road in about a foot and half of powder. Got to use 4 high and had to turn on my rear locker to keep the rear end going straight through the deep snow. Got through with no issues and was able to make it to trail head to go ski!

How are the K03s in the snow?
They were great honestly. I do have weight in the bed which helps, but the K03s worked really well. More snow in Colorado today so will do some more testing... For science.

Overall the RR is very well behaved in snow/ice, especially in 4A or 4H. Obviously suffers from the usual rear-wheel-drive issues if you keep it in in 2H.

Not needed. Unless you are running the "performance calibration" (which is just a 91/93 octane tune) then you can run regular gas.

Colorado is high altitude so we get 85 / 87 / 91 options, you can run on 85 here no problem.
