Damn, I'm getting old. They want you to pay for a subscription instead of buying a book once. #facepalm

Yup, I know. Welcome to the new world.

Companies like Haynes and Chilton will probably come out with one in a few months.

You sound surprised that it's by subscription. When all of your vehicle services including remote start are by subscription which could just be a button on the key fob. Toyota is trying hard to strip every dollar from your hands.

At least they offer a short-term subscription to the online database (2 days for $25, or $95 for a month) rather than only a $505 annual subscription. I bet there will come a time when I pay for the 2-day subscription, but given how slow Toyota is with every form of documentation, I have to wonder how incomplete their database for the 2025 4runner probably is, at the present time anyway.

The "collision repair manual" might be the most interesting, in that it probably describes all the pry points and removal tools and techniques for all the snap-in trim and other interior pieces. I have an intermittent rattle that seems to be coming from the driver's side horizontal dash speaker but I cannot figure out how to remove the speaker grill without potentially breaking it.
