Not sure if I’ll have my video up by then but the best advise I can give is to get the flexible ratcheting bit driver they recommend. Also loosening the top of the fender is only 1 clip and 3 bolts, gives you about an inch or two of slack. That extra space is a game changer for getting your hands in to access the top two screws that hold the module as well as being able to safely remove the wiring clip!

Nice pics. My to do this weekend.

Thanks! Definitely took inspiration from your video and want to apologize in advance for my pronunciation of your YouTube channel 😅🥲. The only real difference is I used the flexible ratcheting bit driver tool they recommend and was able to gain some extra working space by removing the top fender bolts and pulling the fender out by about an inch.

I appreciate you putting that out just in time for me to get these installed, was a huge help!

I’m looking forward to seeing your install video to pick up some tricks of the trade for when I help out other people with this mod.

those photos are so good! Like magazine quality! Nicely done

This advice about the fender bolts is CLUTCH! I didn’t do it and after removing the headlight completely I realized how much easier it would have been if I did this!

Installed mine yesterday. Took about 2.5 hours. The flexible bit extension and thumb ratchet the install instructions were crucial. There's no way I could've done it without them. Still ended up losing one of the module screws, but I have a replacement on order.

@adrouin64 , @johnd93 did you guys end up drilling the pcb or did you just break off the 3rd pin on the heatsinks like KayaPayaPigDog did in his video?
I just grabbed the little pin with some pliers, it broke off clean with literally no effort. Even if you wanted to put the stock ones back it the third pin isn't going to matter AT ALL. I would be more concerned about ruining the new modules trying to drill out a hole vs just snapping that little pin off.

I just sent my stock modules to Signature Lux via USPS express so they will be able to get the third hole in the exact right spot for the modules that are on hold or to be sent in the future so you won’t have to modify anything to get this job done! That said, the wiring harness is tough to get to and I marred up the clip a bit with my needle nose pliers so either way it is obvious that it had been worked on. Cheers

I see, that’s awesome. Maybe that’s why my order hasn’t shipped yet, I placed it a few days ago. I’m totally fine waiting if it means I won’t need to modify anything. Thanks for working with them and being the guinea pig on all this!

Yeahhhhhhh, not gonna lie my clips are a little scarred. I ended up pulling to hard on the drivers side and pulled the pins out of the connectors... Luckily it all snapped right back in and works fine, but I did give myself a bit of a panic attack...

This was before I figured out about the fender trick.. so keep that in mind - best to loosen the fender for better access before attempting to disconnect the wiring.

I actually broke the little black retaining clip for the wiring harness on both sides, but everything plugged back in without any issues. I'd say the unplugging the module was actually the hardest part
