I bought a brand new 4runner 2025 last month . When I drove it for a week, I have noticed a problem: my steering wheel will tilt slightly to the right to keep my car going straight. If I keep my steering wheel in the middle, the car will gradually drift to the left.I have to keep the steering wheel slightly to the right to keep my car going straight and in the middle of the lane. Is this a problem with the tires or the steering system?
My sales told me they probably need to correct the alignment, and tell you just bought the car.It should be covered under warranty.
I will be picking up the plates next Monday and I have an appointment for a checkup so hopefully they can fix this little issue.
I have checked the tire pressure and it is normal. Since the offset is small, I can live with it, but it still feels uncomfortable. Hopefully this is not a common problem.
