Got a new 24 xlt fx4, was wondering how to turn on the speed limit icon that shows on the map that goes off of gps? I’m pretty sure mine doesn’t have the sign recognition feature but thought they worked with gps as well. Figured the sync 4 (supposed to be the 4A) would have that feature.

On your steering wheel there is a off and on button for this.(LIM) At least there is for my Lariat.

That button controls what speed that you want to limit the car to. It doesn't put the speed limit icon on the GPS map.

According to the manual, the recognition works off stored maps and the camera behind the mirror. Seems like it should work automatically. Search the manual for "Speed sign recognition" to get more info.
