As I wait for mine to arrive, I wonder what you all think of the seats as far as quality and fit and finish are concerned? I'm not expecting Lincoln premium leather but I'm hoping they don't have similar issues that some of the Raptors have.

I love mine. Super soft and comfy. What issues are you referring?
I realize they're comfortable. I'm wondering more about the appearance, tightness, quality of the stitching, straightness of the seams. I'm a little OCD that way.

The bottom or part you actually sit on is a bit loose on the drivers side. Not enough to bother me. Could be a problem if it was to get worse over time...Everything else looks good

I have had my Lariat for 4 months. I have not had any of the "loose leather" issues that people are talking about on the Raptors. I have the 4WD version and I put GoRhino side steps on it and I make sure to step on them to get in and out of the truck. On my last vehicle, I kind of slid in and out and ended up cracking the leather on the side bolster of the seat. So far so good.

The seats, overall, leave a little bit to be desired. It actually took some convincing for me to believe they are real leather rather than Ford's ActiveX material. If I'm not mistaken, they are also the same seats from the Ford Fiesta. So, are they the worst seats in the world? No. But, are they what I'd expect in an economy car rather than a Lariat trim Ford truck? Yeah, kinda.

IMO my Gen 2 Chevy Volt Premiere had more substantial driver and passenger seats than my Lariat Ranger. But, the truck is comfortable and I look forward to getting into it every day, so... 🤷‍♂️

owned it four months and 3k miles. fitment is a little loose, but it doesn’t bother me at this point. in comparison the quality on my wife’s Toyota is much better.

Ya the term leather seats is a bit of a misnomer these days. They do contain leather, but its of such poor quality they cover it with a urethane coating to hide that fact. Real leather seats (semi aniline) let you know about it every time you open the door to get in. Even 10 or more years later that real leather smell is present.

I appreciate all the comments. I've lowered my expectations accordingly.

I have a ranger lariat, picked it up in mid April. NO issues so far, they're comfortable

I just cancelled my order for a 25 ranger lariat. The same seats as the 24. The material is loose and looks terrible. I had the dealer find me a 24 and the seats were bad also. The dealer didn’t want to hear it and the repair center said they could try and steam out the wrinkles. No thanks. Not for 55K! Going to the Colorado I guess. Want to stay American.

My seats look just fine after 2 months of use. I did look at another Lariat while mine was on order. The seats were awful on that one.
Canyon AT4 was my second choice. However there were far too many horror stories about build quality issues on the forums.
Glad I went with the Ranger.

yeah when you compare the issues the colorado/canyon have had to the problems the ranger has had...going to GM because ford's leather seats aren't quite taut enough seems like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. we are talking about a minor cosmetic issue versus issues that turn the truck into a paper weight.

I’ve had my Ranger now for seven months and am currently sitting at the dealership while it gets its 30k service. The seats in mine are fine. No abnormal wear or loose spots. They still look like the day I took delivery of it.
