I've got a persistent tire pressure icon, and I think the cause is the receiver on the truck side of the system. I say this because I just rotated my tires and the little devil is still there. I checked the tire pressure in all the tires and they're all at 34 psi. The dashboard indicator, when I first start the engine, indicates it's the passenger rear tire. This sensor has been very sensitive to temperature changes and the icon often shows up, but goes away after the tire warms up. I'm in central Florida, so I don't think this particular problem has anything to do with the weather. Anyone familiar with the TPS system? Is there a recalibration program built into the system? If the only option is to replace the sensor, does anyone know the process and costs? Thanks.

There’s a tire pressure initialization process starting on page 536 in the owner manual that might help with relearning or resetting your desired tire pressure. I think it should work with recalibrating

I purchase new tire pressure sensors when I put my new wheels and tires on and I know that they are about a $150 a piece plus installation.

I would check your TPS settings through the dash and see what your alerts are set at. I lowered mine down to 30 PSI and usually run around 32/33 PSI.

I did what maxx075 did.
Find the TPMS settings on your dash menu and adjust to 30psi, or to current tire pressure if you want a different number.

After you do what the folks above suggest, I bought new TPMS sensors for my Taco at a local auto parts store for $45.00 apiece. After they installed them, the tire shop said they sell them for $30.00 apiece.....

I am referring to the valve stem transmitters.

I just got around to doing as you suggested and it solved my problem. Thanks Greg.
